Across the islands, we follow local change makers, divers, scientists, fishers, eco tourism leaders, and artists deeply connected to the land and the sea. Bahamaland is an independent platform. 'Above Is Below' is a story documenting the journey and connection between human and wildlife followed by a series of uncertainties compounded by environmental setbacks. Motivated by local inspiration and loved ones to stay true to one's goal and passion in advocating for the ocean through photography. Above is Below features a euphoric, vibrant and surreal tone juxtaposed with tragedy and darkness. A theme of deep connection, resilience and uncertainties. A comparison between two distinct beings, above and below the water.
